This weather has been amazing! It was so nice to be out in the beautiful sunshine doing something I love! It was great to meet the “F” family and have the opportunity to take some shots of their children! It was fun to do a sibling session and not have to chase anyone around like I have to when I take photos of my own children! I had such a hard time narrowing it down to my “favorites”. I could have blogged their entire session but for now I will just post these few!
It is hard to believe it is still Winter! We have been trying to find the perfect date on the calendar to fit this session in and today was the day! Beautiful sunshine and a beautiful family, what more could you ask for as a photographer? Oh wait, I also get to call them friends so that makes me doubly blessed! This is one awesome family, it was great to get them in front of the camera but I confess I had a hard time narrowing a few down for the blog!
I love how this combination of photos scream “ornery, yet sweet little boy” and “big, beautiful girl!”

Between the whipping wind and the bright sun we had a hard time finding just the right spot for photos. Once we got the location down little Miss A let her personality shine! I have no doubt she brings smiles to the faces of all she meets!

This momma and I go back 10 years now and I am so blessed to call her one of my closest friends. We have been in each others weddings and celebrated the births of each others children and I finally live close enough to see her at least once a year! This fall I made the trek up north to Kansas City to spend some time with her beautiful family and to take some fall family photos.
I cannot believe her little man is going to be one soon. Enjoy this sweet family!
