Josh & Kirsten | Madison, IN Wedding

Friday, May 21st, 2010

I love to shoot weddings, probably because it always reminds me of my own wedding and my fabulous husband. Most people like weddings, what I enjoy is the excitement of the bride to see her groom, the way the groom looks at his bride, how tightly he seems to hold on to her and how content they both seem. This weekend was no different. One thing about Josh and Kirsten that is certain, is that they love one another. The way Josh looks at Kirsten and Kirsten smiles at Josh leaves no doubt in anyones mind that they were meant for one another.

Another reason this weekend was fun is that I got to shoot with friend and photographer Dani Snell.

Enjoy your sneak peak!

Fall Wedding | Madison, IN

Friday, October 30th, 2009

I had the awesome opportunity to shoot the wedding of Derek and Alli! I met them back in May to shoot their engagement photos, it has been an honor and a blessing to know these two. Their wedding was a day of celebration that everyone was excited about!  Not only was the bride and groom amazing but my associate photographer was awesome! I need to give a huge shout out to Sarah Burton of Berrytree Photography who drove up from Atlanta, GA to shoot the wedding with me! Click on her name to check out her work, keep checking back to see more of Derek and Alli’s beautiful day!

Derek and Alli, I pray God continues to bless you and thanks again for letting me celebrate with you!

Now for the sneak peak…

alli, you looked beautiful… almost my fav!

Jason + Telitha | Married

Monday, September 7th, 2009

Saturday I got the distinct honor to stand beside one of my best friends as she married an awesome man of God who promised to lead her and love her as Christ loves the church. Telitha was the last of the “four of us” to get married. It was a great weekend all around. I got to hang out with some incredible friends, meet some new ones, and rejoice in what God has done in Telitha’s life.  Not only did I get to be a bridesmaid I got to photograph the parts of the wedding I wasn’t in, it is always an honor when a bride and groom trusts me to do their wedding. You are probably wondering how I was in the wedding and it still got photographed. I had two great people who also shot with me. Thank you Amber and Jeremy.

If you want to see more o Jason and Telitha you can check out their engagement session here.

I am going to start with an awesome shot from Jeremy, he captured this as Telitha was coming down the aisle…

The beautiful bride

The handsome Groom

And one more because she is beautiful!!

Here are some of my favorites of the two of them!

bring it in tight!

and as requested by them to match their engagement photo

They dance to “Atlast” I love the joy on their faces!

and some details…

Jason and Telitha, I am blessed beyond measure to know you both! I am excited to see how God continues to use you to bring glory to Himself!

Have fun in Costa Rica!!

Kaci and Roger | {wedding}

Thursday, August 6th, 2009

When I was in OK I did back to back wedding weekends with Nichole Moore, it was an honor and privilege to shoot this wedding. For two reasons, I enjoy shooting with my colleagues and for two Roger and I go way way back, he was a classmate from elementary school until graduation and for the most part shared the same friends, as a matter of fact he was my escort for homecoming court my senior year.

Kaci and Roger, it was a beautiful day, thanks for allowing me to be a part of it! To check out more of the wedding see Nichole’s blog: http://nmoorephoto.com/blog/2009/08/04/kaci-roger-wedding/ Thanks again Nichole for inviting me to shoot with you!

the details…

Kaci waiting to see roger on the golf course

Kaci and Roger choose to see each other before the ceremony. It was a very sweet moment that Nichole and I got the privledge of capturing behind the camera. A “first look” is nice because you get to see one another, release some nerves AND have extra time to get some awesome images while everyone still looks fresh!

Three of my favorites from the “first look”

probably my favorite from the day…

The wedding was held at the Holy Family Cathedral in Tulsa, OK

between the ceremony and reception we headed out to the golf course one last time as the sun faded behind the trees

the first dance

thanks for looking!!
