The Gospel Ministry {Ordination}

March 29, 2009 | Filed Under Uncategorized | 5 Comments

Tonight I had the great honor of photographing an ordination service of a very dear friend and Brother in Christ. God is continually working in the lives of His children and it is awesome to capture those moments through the lens of my camera. This is the 3rd ordination I have photographed and the 4th I have had the chance to witness (one of them being my husbands).  It is such a blessing to see the church put their stamp of approval on a man who has most evidently been called by God to the ministry.

Here are a few shots from tonight:

Todd’s dad is an ordained minister and charged his son to remain faithful to the gospel

Our pastor laying hands on Todd

For we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts.

I Thessalonians 2:4

Todd, may God continue to use you to proclaim his name and bring Him glory!

Remember this sweet thing, I am so luck that I get the opportunity to photograph her from belly to big girl! Today her brother made his debut (well really twelve days ago he made the B-I-G debut but today he made it in front of my lens).

No session is complete without the big sister!

and mom and dad

and tell me this is not fun, mom and dad will have lots of smile and sweet moments like this ahead!

Can you resist a newborn yawn?

I love newborn lips and eyelashes, and these are no different!!!!

are you melting over the utter cuteness of this kiddo yet?!?

and last but not least, the big beautiful eyes…

Thank you so much for letting me spend time with your family over the past few years. It has been a joy and an honor to capture your growing family through my lens! I am excited about what God is doing in and through your family! May God continue to richly bless you!!

Waiting on {Spring}

Anyone who has the wonderful job of being a stay at home mom knows how much the kiddos LOVE to play outside. It is getting to be that time of year when at 60 degress you put on flip flops and  even bust out the short sleeves.  Here is a shot of my girl waiting on Spring!
