Thankfulness!

I hope everyone has had a joyful thanksgiving! I have enjoyed spending time with friends and family today! My husband and I were talking about what we are thankful for! We named one thing in each category and I wanted to share what I am most thankful for this Thanksgiving!

1. Frivilous category ~ My camera! Not only do I get to document and be a part of creating memories for you but I also get to record memories for my family and that brings me great joy and thankfulness!

2. Personal Category ~ My family! Seriously I love these two!

And here is one of my and my girl

3. Spiritual Category ~ I am thankful for Jesus Christ living perfectly on my behalf! This verse sums it up!

For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. (II Corinthians 5:21)

Hope you have had a chance to reflect on what you are thankful for this Thanksgiving!

Sensational {Senior}

I spent a few hours yesterday afternoon with Kim and her mom. We have been trying to get Kim’s session in but the weather was not cooperating. Although it was very chilly FREEZING outside we braved the cold to get some awesome senior images. When speaking with Kim it was evident she wanted to be herself in her images and what she wore! She really took ownership of her session and had locations and clothing all picked out! After graduation in the spring of ‘09 she plans to attend nursing school! Best of luck to you Kim and thanks for tolerating the cold weather! Had a lot of favorites but here are a few, enjoy your sneak peak!!

Thanks for looking!!

It’s all in the family!!

Here is the full post as promised, more of Kayla and a few of the rest of her family! I was a little nervous about getting nine people to look at me and keep their eyes open!!! But it was accomplished, even a few times. (but this is just a sneak peak so you cannot see all of them here :) )

I also go the treat of shooting 4 of the other siblings (going to do the two itty bitty ones when they are a little happier).

Enough of the family, lets get to the senior!! For one when I asked her how old she was it blew me away because when I first met her she was probably 11 or 12. Now she is 17 and graduating from high school. I always enjoy working with people who really own their session. They make it themselves and tell me what they want to do too! Kayla did just that! Thanks again for letting me document such an awesome time in your life! Enjoy your FULL sneak peak!

This one is funny, I said show me your “serious” face and this is what I got seconds later… and yes it was what I was going for!!

Congrats Kayla!!!!!!!

Just a tease…
