Life gets busy and I don’t often get the chance to take photos of my own kids. The light was so pretty in my room so I thought why not give it a go. No I didn’t go pull out the big fluffy dresses, wipe the drool off of brother’s chin, or fix sister’s “crazy hair”. I captured my kiddos as they are, because that is life and I love the one the Lord has given me!
I love engagement sessions! They are SOOOOO important!! There are so many advantages to having an engagement session, it gives me a great chance to get to know the bride and groom before the wedding, see how they interact with one another, and for the couple to feel comfortable with me.
Here are some fun things I learned about these two,
- they LOVE being together and it shows in how much fun they have with one another
- Jessica has a beautiful smile, but it is even brighter when she is with Brandon
- he is a whole foot taller than she is
- Brandon often steals glances at at his bride to be when she is not looking, which is totally sweet

Big sister thought ahead for Mother’s Day this year and want to do a session for her mom as a surprise. Since it is past Mother’s day I can finally share some images from their session.

It is always a joy to cuddle a newborn, even more so when it is the child of one of your best friends! Meet baby H. She is 8 days old and as cute as can be!
